From the founding partner...

‘I have many years of post-qualification experience as a Lawyer in Government, in a Multinational Enterprise and in Private Practice. My career has, therefore, been balanced in three core sectors and I feel that this is unique. I have a wide and seasoned experience, which though legal in its thrust, directly impacts on non-legal areas. My specialisms are Corporate Law, Commercial Law and Property Law. I am a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. From 1992-1993 I worked for a State Ministry of Justice in the Departments of Civil Litigation and Public Prosecutions. From 1995-2002, I acted as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to SGS Inspection Services Nigeria Limited (an affiliate of SGS Societe Generale de Surveillance S. A. of Geneva, Switzerland) and was responsible for all legal work including all corporate governance matters, the drafting and standardisation of legal formats for inspection and warehousing transactions, inspection and certification issues, oil and gas service contracts, both on a domestic as well as international level. Over the years, I have attended many courses and seminars in my areas of interest and in 1999, I attended the well-known 6-week course on Enterprise and Investment Law at the International Development Law Institute in Rome, Italy. An LL.M qualification in 2002 from the University of London (my subject grouping - International Business Law - where I was a Chevening Scholar under the aegis of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom), has also placed me at the cutting edge of legal knowledge and development. I continue to hone my skills in law enjoying private practice more and more and doing some pro bono work. I strive for the culture of excellence in all that I do and this is uppermost in my mind as I give the profession my best shot, it is but all that one can do in life.’
